Goody Ouchless Ribbon Elastics

At first I was very very skeptical of these "ribbon elastics" well at least the original ones that where super pricey and were just a glorified piece of elastic ribbon that you could possibly get at a craft store.  (my sister in law and I where contemplating on doing so.)

When I saw that the Goody Ouchless Ribbon elastics were in the SunKissedVoxBox from Influenster, and saw they were from Goody I said maybe I should give them a try.  I had tried  some other ones from another unknown brand and I honestly didn't like them only because they didn't hold up my hair. After trying the Goody ones they still don't hold my hair super tight but they do the job when I want to add some color to the ends of my summer braids. The Colors are nice and simple go with everything on your hair or on your wrist. The material is a soft and stretchy fabric.

Olay Fresh Effects - BB Cream.

I recently received a box filled with goodies from (Influenster).  In the box was another box with a BB Cream from Olay.  www.olayfresheffects.com  It is from their Fresh Effects line.  I have tried some other Olay Fresh Effects Items and I was pleased with them.  Being the BB Creams and CC Creams are all the rage right now I was supper enthusiastic I received a BB Cream to Try out.

The color that was sent to me is in light - medium at first glance I thought it would be too light for me.  (I don't know why for some reason I think all foundations and bb creams are to light for me, but they are not.)  After using it for a couple of days I got used to the fact that the color was my color.

This BB Cream claims it has 6 skin perfecting benefactors.

- Refreshes skin instantly
- Brightens for a radiant glow
- Evens tone with a splash of sheer color
- Hydrates for 24 hours
- Smooths for softer feeling skin 
- Protects against UV damage with SPF 15 

After having used it for a couple of days I have noticed some of the benefits. It does refresh skin on contact I love the way it feels when I am buffing it on the skin. It does give me a radiant glow but with summer right now I do use a matte finishing powder to control all shiny-ness (if thats a word).  I do like how it evens some of the redness that i have on my cheeks. I don't wear this for 24 hours but it does keep my face hydrated for the amount of time I do have it on my face. As for the spf 15 in it you can go wrong with any spf.

What I like most of this product is how easy it fits into my fast paced lifestyle.  I don't always have time to do a full face routine but with this products it just makes it so much better.

Influenster - SunKissed VoxBox 2013.

Hello Everyone out there.

Im not sure who is reading this,  but if you are THANK YOU for taking the time to read this post. =].

Today Im writing about yet another Influenster Vox Box.  For those who do not know what Influenster is.  It is a website where you can write reviews on products, you may like or dislike.  After filling in a few questionnaires you may be picked to receive a box filled with goodies complimentary to review. They maybe from new brands, old brands, things you may have already heard of, or all new products.

Now Lets get started.  This month I was not sure when I was gonna receive the box.  Then a few weeks ago my sister in law says your box came in. ( I did not go to work that morning because I had gotten this really bad pain in lower neck area it was bad, but having the box come in made it all better.) well she brought it up to my house. I was excited about to open it then I said no. I must film it. So I proceeded to do that.

So here are the Products that were sent to me to review.  The first item I saw was the Dr. Scholl's For Her High Heel Insole.  After seing them in my box I remembered that I had been asked questions about insoles.  I was thinking maybe we would get some type of regular insoles which I would love.  Then I saw it was the High Heel Insole was super excited.  I can't really use any type of shoe, flat, sandle, wedge let alone some heels because I have plantar fasciatis (it is a pain in the heel of foot an injury more common than we think.)  I think its been about 3 months since I last used some wedges because they have some sort of support (I only lasted about 2 hours).  Well now I am going to use the insoles to try on some of my pumps that I have not worn in a while.  I will let you know how well they work out for me. Thank you Influenster and Dr scholl's for those.

The next big thing I saw that was in the box was from Olay.  It is the Olay Fresh Effects BB cream.  By now im sure we have all heard of BB Creams.  What a BB cream is basically is a moisturizer with some more qualities to it.  This BB Cream states that it brightens for a radiant glow, evens tone with a splash of sheer color, hydrates for 24 hours, smoothes for softer feeling skin, protects against UV damage with SPF 15.  I love BB creams because they are not so heavy as foundations for an everyday thing. I dont really like wearing a full coverage foundation for an everyday thing.  But BB creams are good. I especially love bb creams when its that time of the month and I get the occasional acne/pimple, so that i don't layer a heavy foundation on those days. I cant wait to try this cream out and see how it works out on my skin and how well it last thru out the day.  

Moving on to the next item,  It is from Sinful colors.  It is their new line of nail polishes Sinful Shine by Sinful Colors.  I have not had a chance to try anything from this brand so yeah I could say im a little excited I received this in the box. SinfulShine with gel tech it says it is 5 times more glossy than a patten leather shoe. Well we will see about that. This line has a range of 32 shades. I received it in Picante it is a red color nail polish so I will be using this for the 4th of July soon (which reminds me I gotta get on that soon.) 

The last and final item in my box was from Goody and it was the Ouch-less Ribbon Elastics.  Now I have a love hate relationship with these "ribbon elastics".  I have received them from from other brands.  And they do no really hold up my hair being that I have so much and its so thick. Also the fact that they are bit pricy for the original ones, but I do love the range of colors and patterns they come in.  The goody ones are inexpensive for a pack of 4. Im gonna see if they hold my hair a bit more.  None the less I am thank full they were sent to me.

Well that was all that came in the SunKissed VoxBox.  I am thankful and excited for all the items I have received this time.  Thank you to @GoodyHair, @FreshEffects, @SinfulColors_NP, and Dr. Scholl's for the products. Writing Blogs...

It seems to me that I have not been super motivated to really start writing a blog. Mainly because I feel my life is to normal to write about anything. Well I am gonna take the opportunity to change that.   I will try my hardest to finally changed that.  From now on I will try at least once a week to write something from how the week was, the customers I talked to, the things I see in the beautiful city or even if it is only to say hello. So hello to anyone out there who is reading this.

Boy, oh boy has it been it while.

Its finally way past over Holidays and work is calming down.  I have been finally sleeping early thanks to a little game called candy crush (thats a whole other blog for that).  Well Today I have recent haul from Rite Aid.

 Being that I live in one of the most expensive cities and saving to buy a house somethings I want/need are a second priority.  Well Rite Aid had a sale and I just had to go, because I had coupons ( yes I am a couponer, while not an extreme one because California has laws against it) but im always searching for the best deals.  Rite Aid had a 40% sale and I had collected 10 $1.00 off coupons. so I saved 70% on the products purchased.  I was so happy that I finally hit a % mark of my usual 20-30%. I was extremely happy with that.

Dino Lingo on YouTube.

Just finish watching the Dino Lingo Langauge Learning DVD's Its a really nice learning DVD for children.  It is available in different languages (French, Italian, Spanish,...) I tried out the French one, and although I do not have children yet or anytime soon.  I did learn a thing or two.  How to say cat, dog, bird, fish, one two.  I would invest in something like this, or buy it as a gift for my niece and nephews.
